I am using Mint 19.3. I am attempting to record from “Line-in”. The recording that I end-up with is simply crackling static. However, while recording from “Line-in” I can still hear the audio from my speakers. So the speaker audio comes out fine, but the recording audio does not. Any-thoughts on how to fix?

You can delete my prior post. I was able to get Audio Recorder to work. Evidently you cannot have both Audio Recorder and Audacity active at the same time.
