Fre:ac (former name: BonkEnc) is a CD Ripper and Converter audio files. Can use its own codec for format conversion, but also supports external codecs.
When digitizing CD files can use a library to freedb and CDDB to get information about CD disks. Can automatically generate playlists. Supports CD-text.
The program supports the following formats: MP3, AAC, FLAC, WMA, MP4, OGG, WAV and BONK. Supported Unicode and ID3v2 tags.
