Doomsday Engine has a convenient and intuitive user interface for settings, organization profiles and add-ons (resources, game configurations, etc).
In addition to the main three games the Doomsday Engine supports and other modifications of the classic games of the series Doom.
Doomsday Engine is a modular application, using plugins in game you can add different graphical effects, support for high-resolution and detailed textures, stereoscopic view, 3D models of objects and 3D sound effects, reverb, additional sound effects, MIDI music and more.
When you start the multiplayer mode Doomsday Engine automatically checks the availability of required resources (compares local and on the server), it supports multiplayer mode up to 16 players via local area network (servers are determined automatically) or via the Internet.

Doomsday Shell - tool to run your own servers of Doomsday and monitoring servers running on remote computers (in local network or Internet). Running on the local computer, the server doesn't have access to game profiles Doomsday and path you specify when you run.
