This is my favorite GUI text editor for Linux, I use the Windows version all the time too. I also covered this topic here.

I'm using Mint Cinnamone installed on virtual machine VMWare. The instruction helped me to adjust my mouse scroll wheel speed. I set the value to 6. Now it's comfortable to use the mouse. Thanks a lot!

Phatch - batch processor photos in Linux Mint

Phatch - batch image processor (photos) for Linux. Is intended for mass processing of images. Supports a large number of actions for modifying images.

Sorry for the spelling and phonetic errors in the text.
Owner and main writer of MintGuide.org is not a native English speaker.

Allows you to resize, brightness/contrast, color balance. You can add the watermark to images, batch rename image files, add a drop shadow, round corners and stuff.
The program interface is quite simple and easy to understand.
The program Phatch cross-platform and is available for Linux, Windows and MacOS.

If Phatch does not work in >=LinuxMint 18 the decision below:
In the file /usr/share/phatch/phatch/lib/pyWx/wxPil.py need changed the
words "fromstring" and "tostring" to "frombytes" and "tobytes". Now
Phatch seems to work with the latest python-imaging and python-pil
libraries in Sid.
