Need to download the archive from the official website and extract in a convenient place.
Or you can use a single command, which will download and extract the program to your home directory.
cd /tmp && wget -c http://download.xnview.com/XnRetro-linux.tgz && cd && tar xvzf /tmp/XnRetro-linux.tgz
Run the program using the file xnretro.sh
To install XnRetro in your Launcher menu, change the pathname of xnview's folder in XnRetro.desktop (Exec & Icon) and move it to /usr/share/applications
Open a terminal in the program folder and run the command
sudo cp XnRetro.desktop /usr/share/applications
Now check the icon in your menu
