Photivo contains a huge number of possibilities for photo editing. The developer writes that Photivo has the most flexible and powerful algorithms for noise reduction, sharpen, and create HDR effect among the programs with open source. But keep in mind that the program has no pre-defined presets with ready-made effects. In order to achieve the desired effect, you will have to adjust many parameters. On the developer website there are several lessons that can help. But even that may not be enough, you need to understand what you are doing and have some experience. Therefore, we can say that Photivo is not for beginners.
The program's interface is overall user-friendly and made in shades of gray. On the left there is a tabbed pane on the right side, editable photo, and support elements at the bottom. Each tab contains a set of different filters and parameters for image processing. Also in the top panel presents the histogram and the line search filter.
The program has integration with the GIMP. You can export and import photos from GIMP.
