Recently stopped working plugin for imgur.com for Shutter, so I searched for alternatives and stumbled on Imgur-Screenshot, a bash script that allows you to take screenshots and upload them to Imgur.

Imgur-Screenshot has several useful features, including:
*Imgur automatically copy links to clipboard
*Allows you to edit the image (using an external editing application) before downloading
*Allows you to upload images anonymously or through an account-Imgur
*Can create and add images to the Imgur albums
*Downloaded images can be automatically delete after the desired number of seconds
The script can also load any image on Imgur, so it can upload not only screenshots created via Imgur-Screenshot.
However, Imgur-Screenshot supports other utilities for creating screenshots, for example, maim (which users of Linux Mint can install from the main PPA repository WebUpd8 team). This parameter, like other settings, can be changed in the configuration file Imgur-Screenshot.
You may use Imgur-Screenshot Nemo with a simple script (which is also available for Nautilus and Caja) for uploading images to Imgur Using this script, you can right click your mouse on the image in Nautilus, Nemo or Caja and select Scripts > Upload to Imgur, that will upload the picture on Imgur and copy the image address to the clipboard.
