I think it works, Mint 18 xfce. Have installed clonezilla from the mint package manager, called it [sudo clonezilla] and it opened.

Installation into Linux:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yorba/daily-builds
sudo apt update
sudo apt install california

Remove California:

sudo add-apt-repository -r ppa:yorba/daily-builds
sudo apt update
sudo apt remove --purge california
