sudo add-apt-repository ppa:w-vollprecht/ppa
sudo apt update
sudo apt install uberwriter
If when adding a repository you see a similar error (Cannot add PPA: ”This PPA does not support xenial’).
I have at the moment is Linux Mint system 18.1. This error means that the repository does not support my system. So we add manually from the repository of Ubuntu 15.04
echo -e “deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/w-vollprecht/ppa/ubuntu vivid main\ndeb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/w-vollprecht/ppa/ubuntu vivid main” | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/w-vollprecht-uberwriter.list
Now add the signed key, the command below will add all the missing keys in your system
sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com `sudo apt update 2>&1 | grep -o ‘[0-9A-Z]\\{16\\}$’ | xargs`
Now install the program
sudo apt update
sudo apt install uberwriter
May the Force be with you,
Good Luck!!!
