ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors is a free and open source office suite that comprises viewers and editors for text documents, spreadsheets and presentations working offline and allowing to easily switch to the online mode for real-time co-editing and collaboration.
To extend its functionality, you can use the plugins listed on GitHub or create your own one using API documentation. Actually, you can add a video from YouTube, insert ClipArts, recognize text from screenshots/pictures, and play chess within your document.
Recently developers have updated ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors to version 4.2.1 that includes some new features and fixes some bugs reported by users. The detailed changelog can be found on GitHub.
