Toggl - a program for working time tracking

In this article I want to talk about the program Toggl for time tracking. If You often work at the computer, even for very convenient, how much do you spend per day on work without being distracted by social networks, reading news or playing games. While controlling your working hours, you can become more productive. Especially if your work is hourly.

Firstly let's talk about price. Presents three different tariff plan: https://toggl.com/pricing

I'm going to describe and talk about the free version, which for most cases will be enough. That is, if You or your team up to five people, the free version is more than enough. So, this program has a client for all platforms, including Linux Mint/Ubuntu Looks Toggl desktop client as follows.

Main window:

The principle of operation is very simple, create a task (New) and note the time (Stop, Continue).

Once the task is created start a countdown.

And if you have access to the Internet, it will sync with the web interface of this program on the website: https://www.toggl.com/app/timer
You can build different reports, set filters and export to PDF
In addition there is a TimeLine row on the Timer tab, which shows what programs did you use and what sites you visited:

On the tab "Team" you can invite people to join the team. And in DashBoard you can quickly see who is doing what.
Installation latest version into Linux Mint:

First, register an account on the website:
https://www.toggl.com/

Then download the client for Linux:

Run the program and go under the account that registered.
The installation is finished.

In addition, if you have Redmine, you can integrate this application, there is a plugin:

That's all.
