Nanny - a parental control in Linux Mint

The application "Nanny" was created by GNOME developers specifically to oversee the work on the computer your children/child.

 

Feachures:
- Control which web sites are allowed or not allowed to visit the child.
- What time of the week and how long the child may:
  to use a computer
  to view the web page
  to use email
  to use instant messaging/chat rooms

 

The administration console Nanny consists of two sections. Users are listed in the left column, and actions are divided into tabs at the top of the window:

Installation latest version into Linux Mint:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:boamaod/nanny-test
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nanny

To delete a Nanny from the system, follow these commands in terminal:

sudo apt-get purge nanny*
