Install Adobe® AIR® into Linux Mint

For developers of Adobe® AIR® is an environment for developing their applications that combine HTML, javascript, Adobe Flash® and ActionScript®. For simple users of Adobe® AIR® is simply the application, without which it is impossible to run programs written in this environment.

A huge plus for both groups of people is the ease of running on any operating system apps written using Adobe® AIR®.
Virtually all of the applications written for Adobe® AIR®, run the “likein the browser, but thereby deprived of all the limitations that are associated with them.
Adobe® AIR® is available for almost all popular operating systems: Windows, Linux, MacOS, etc.

Team NoobsLab written a script to automate Adobe Air installation process for all supported Ubuntu and Linux Mint versions. Adobe Inc. has stopped development of Adobe Air for Linux and following script will install most recent version for Linux released by Adobe.

Installation latest version into Linux Mint:

cd /tmp; wget -O; chmod +x; sudo ./

Install Adobe® AIR® into Linux Mint

Remove from Linux Mint:

sudo apt-get remove --purge adobeair
