comes with a few new tweaks:
-Neflix initially works thanks to the help Pipelight
-Peerflix installed by default, as well as scripts for Firefox that allows you to open torrent files in Firefox and play them directly in VLC;
-TRIM enabled SSD media
-Liquid Prompt is used by default in the GNOME terminal
-scripts Filebot enabled by default
-script data recovery using TestDisk included in PinguyOS 14.04.
This new, just new tweaks included PinguyOS 14.04, and is available more applications/tweaks which improve the use of the system, for example, TLP (tool using different settings to a laptop to save battery power), zram-config, preload (daemon that stores frequently used files in memory for faster start) and Profile Sync Daemon.
PinguyOS 14.04 also comes with some new applications: GNOME Do, Filebot and Plex (with different customization, for example, UnsupportedAppstore), which replaced XBMC in this version.
Applications enabled by default in version PinguyOS 14.04: file Manager Nemo (patched version without dependencies Cinnamon), Firefox 29, Thunderbird 24.5, LibreOffice 4.2.3, Clementine 1.2.3, Steam, Skype 184.108.40.206, VLC 2.1.5, Empathy 3.10.3, Deluge 1.3.6, Calibre 1.36.0, mediaserver-Plex 0.9.9.7.429 and movies Plex 220.127.116.11, Spotify 0.9.4.183, GNOME Tweak Tool 3.10.1 and the Ubuntu software Center 13.10, and others - all of it is based on GTK 3.10.8 and GNOME Shell 3.10.4.
And, of course, different codecs, Java (icedtea РёOpenJRE), the plug-in G-talk and other utilities are installed by default.
As Ubuntu 14.04, fresh PinguyOS includes the core 3.13 Ubuntu Linux Kernel, Xorg-server version 1.15.1 and Mesa 10.1.0.
