Install Linux Kernel 3.15.1 (Stable) in Linux Mint/Pinguy OS

Installing the Linux Kernel 3.15.1 into Linux Mint/Pinguy OS or others Ubuntu distrs:
1. The easiest way to use the utility KernelUpdate.
OR
2. Open a terminal, copy and run one of the commands according to the architecture of your system/computer, at your own risk:
For 32-bit (single command):
cd /tmp && wget http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15.1-utopic/linux-headers-3.15.1-031501-generic_3.15.1-031501.201406161841_i386.deb http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15.1-utopic/linux-headers-3.15.1-031501_3.15.1-031501.201406161841_all.deb http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15.1-utopic/linux-image-3.15.1-031501-generic_3.15.1-031501.201406161841_i386.deb && sudo dpkg -i *.deb
For 64-bit (single command):
cd /tmp && wget http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15.1-utopic/linux-headers-3.15.1-031501-generic_3.15.1-031501.201406161841_amd64.deb http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15.1-utopic/linux-headers-3.15.1-031501_3.15.1-031501.201406161841_all.deb http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15.1-utopic/linux-image-3.15.1-031501-generic_3.15.1-031501.201406161841_amd64.deb && sudo dpkg -i *.deb
2. Update GRUB (GRUB need to upgrade the Linux system where it is installed, if you have more than one)
sudo update-grub

Note If you have a boot loader installed BURG, and it should be updated:

sudo update-burg
3. At the end of the installation, close all applications and restart the computer the following command:
sudo reboot

Once logged in, check the version of the current kernel with the command:

uname -r
If you decide to delete the kernel 3.15.1, run this command:
sudo apt-get purge linux-image-3.15.1-*
To return to the previous kernel when booting Grub select Previous Linux versions
