Plank Dock

Plank - simple, fast and beautiful dock for the desktop. Dock does not contain anything unnecessary, and is designed for a quick start of applications and access to open applications.
Plank is created for those who want a simple dock without any additional functions. It is based on the dock Docky, but uses only its basic functionality.

Sorry for the spelling and phonetic errors in the text.

Plank is very fast, looks stylish and has a nice graphical effects. Dock has the ability to automatically hide when overlapped by the window of an open program. The icon of each of the open programme appears in the dock. When you right-click on any icon opens the shortcut menu for the program. Every icon can be fixed. There is a simple animation, when you click on the icon she jumps (analogy with MacOS). Icons can be dragged with the mouse.

Unfortunately, there is no graphical interface to configure the program. All settings are stored in a text file ~/.config/plank/dock1/settings. To change settings, you must edit this file. The easiest way to do this by opening the file with a text editor. For example, you can just run command in terminal:
sudo gedit ~/.config/plank/dock1/settings
The settings in the file are comments, so to understand it will not be difficult. They are applied, by the way, immediately after saving the file), restart is not necessary.
Doc Plank is used as a standard dock in a beautiful distribution Elementary OS.
Plank Dock
