Touchpad-indicator, is an application created by Spanish developer (Lorenzo Carbonell - "atareao") , which allows you to easily enable and disable the touchpad of the laptop. The application is very convenient when on the laptop there is no special control keys touchpad.

sudo apt-get install touchpad-indicator

    Not working for me neither.

    But the previous version (touchpad-indicator 1.0.4) seems to be working in mint 17

    'It seems crashes only 1.0.5 version, I'm using older 1.0.4 version without problems :)
