Wakefull, like Caffeine, keeps your screen awake by blocking screen/power savers.
The main difference from Caffeine is that Wakefull gives you (the user) access to the scripts being run - so you can adapt it for whatever environment you are using.

Wakefull after running integrates in the notification area (system tray) and does not have any settings. The script works in any production environment which uses gnome-screensaver (gnome-power-manager) or xscreensaver (xfce4-power-manager) to manage the script (off/on) you can use mouse and/or keyboard combination.
Installation latest version into Linux Mint:
2. Unpack the archive to any location
3. Start install.sh and enter the password of super user
4. You will likely need to log out and log back into the system
