QtQR — generate and decode QR-codes
QtQR is a Qt-based application that allows you to generate QR codes, search for and decode QR codes in an image file, or use a webcam to scan a printed code.
  • Zbar Tools is a package that contains basic barcode decoding applications and uses a video4linux device (such as a webcam) as a barcode scanner;
  • Qrencode is a utility that uses libqrencode to encode string data in a QR code and save as a PNG or EPS image;
  • QRQt is a Qt-interface for the generator and the QR-code decoder.
To read the QR-code, a removable web camera is used, which you need to select the Decode button and send it to a picture containing the QR-code.
In case of successful decoding, the red frame of the QR — code is colored green-the QR-code is decrypted.
When the OCR window is closed, The decode QR code with content decryption window opens and offers to either open the address in the default web browser or edit the code content.
