- Grive-Tools to assist you in installing and setting up Google Drive in Ubuntu.
- Grive-Tools consists of the following components :
- Grive-Setup - basic setup and configuration.
- Grive indicator Google Drive, which is displayed on the panel.
You can access the files on the Google Drive locally and synchronize your files with Google Drive online. (Without account to Google Docs)
Auto Sync - Grive-Tools. New files and folders will be downloaded to your Google Drive automatically after a few seconds.
Grive Indicator application supports both light and dark desktop theme.
Notification on the screen inform about the activities Google Drive.
Possibility of the integration of Google Drive icon on the panel Unity.
Open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T), copy and run the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:thefanclub/grive-tools sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install grive-tools
Once the installation is finished, start the customization from Grive-Setup from the menu.
You will be prompted to confirm your Google account in the browser:
Copy and paste it into the window Grive Setup:
And so the installation is finished:
Now all your files and folders will be stored locally in a folder Google Drive in your Home directory, and automatically synchronized with your cloud on a Google server.
