This is my favorite GUI text editor for Linux, I use the Windows version all the time too. I also covered this topic here.

I'm using Mint Cinnamone installed on virtual machine VMWare. The instruction helped me to adjust my mouse scroll wheel speed. I set the value to 6. Now it's comfortable to use the mouse. Thanks a lot!

GUVCViewer (GTK+ UVC Viewer) is a simple graphical application for audio/video capture, working with the UVC driver (UVC driver (Universal Video Class) - a driver that allows USB devices, such as web cameras, interact with the operating system of the computer).

The application is based on luvcview (USB Video Class grabber) using guvcview/GTK2 GUI. GUVCViewer has an intuitive and user-friendly graphical interface (GUI) to view and save video from devices that are supported by the Linux UVC driver, although supported by the majority of Video4Linux2 compatible devices. Developed in the framework of the project BerliOS.
