GUVCViewer – audio/video capture from your webcam in Linux Mint

GUVCViewer - audio/video capture from your webcam in Linux Mint

GUVCViewer (GTK+ UVC Viewer) is a simple graphical application for audio/video capture, working with the UVC driver (UVC driver (Universal Video Class) – a driver that allows USB devices, such as web cameras, interact with the operating system of the computer).

The application is based on luvcview (USB Video Class grabber) using guvcview/GTK2 GUI. GUVCViewer has an intuitive and user-friendly graphical interface (GUI) to view and save video from devices that are supported by the Linux UVC driver, although supported by the majority of Video4Linux2 compatible devices. Developed in the framework of the project BerliOS.

QtCAM is also a good one with lots of advantages over the existing Linux webcam software.
