ClipGrab can download videos from the following sites: YouTube, Clipfish, CollegeHumor, Dailymotion, MyVideo, MySpass, Sevenload, Tudou, Vimeo.
The downloaded video can be converted to files of the following formats: WMV, MPEG4, Ogg Theora, MP3 (audio only), OGG Vorbis (audio only).
ClipGrab can also download HD videos from sites that support high resolution such as YouTube or Vimeo.
Installation latest version into Linux Mint:
After installation, open ClipGrab menu “Internet“ or the search menu. When the window opens with the program, type in the search box the phrase to search for a clip or URL address of the desired clip from YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
Select the clip by clicking on it, go to the Downloads tab, click on the button to Download a video, select the folder where you want save the clip, and the download will begin
At the end of the clip is loaded, click on the button to Open the destination folder of the current load and see the loaded clip.
Don’t forget to set the program settings to your taste.
