In addition Natron can act as a host for OpenFX plugins, and used with other programs for processing video. Written in C++ using Qt (PySide). The program is simple, functional and is perfect for post-processing of Amateur videos and professionally filmed material. Natron can be downloaded from the official website after registration, in the form of a Windows-like installer, and deb and rpm packages.
